Create and manage landing pages in a help center

A landing page lets you curate and efficiently organize help resources for specific subjects or audiences in a visually appealing manner. These stand-alone pages have customizable layouts to which you can add rich content, images, videos, links, and more.

For example, you could create a page dedicated to onboarding new hires, gathering all the resources a new employee might need in one place. This page can be visually designed and links to request forms, knowledge base articles, informative videos, and other key information useful during the onboarding process can be added to it. Alternatively, you could create a page that compiles links and information about a new compensation-related change being implemented across the organization.

Landing pages are only available to Premium and Enterprise customers. You need to be a Jira admin to use this feature.

Create and manage landing pages

To create a landing page:

  1. Go to the help center of your choice.

  2. Select your avatar, and from the dropdown, select Landing pages.

  3. Select Create page.

  4. Give your page a name and description and select Create.

You can also create landing pages from the help center management page.

  1. Go to any help center on your site.

  2. Select your avatar, and from the dropdown, select View all help centers.

  3. Select More (…) next to the help center you want to create a landing page in, and select Settings.

  4. From the right-hand side navigation, select Landing pages.

  5. From here, select Create page.

You can create up to 100 landing pages in each help center on your site.

Edit the layout of a landing page

Once you’ve created a landing page, you can edit its layout to add rich content to the page.

To edit the layout of a landing page:

  1. Go to the help center of your choice.

  2. Select your avatar, and from the dropdown, select Landing pages.

  3. Select More (…) next to the landing page you want to edit, then select Edit page layout. Find out more about editing page layouts in a help center.

  4. Once you’re done customising the page, select Publish to save changes.

Help customers navigate to your landing page

Once your page is published, you can copy a link to that page to add it to different parts of your help center or share it with your customers.

To copy the link to a landing page:

  1. Go to the help center of your choice.

  2. Select your avatar, and from the dropdown, select Landing pages.

  3. Find the landing page you want to copy the link for from the list. Hover near the name of the landing page to find the Copy link icon.

You can now share the link to this page with customers or use it to link out to this page from your help center home page.

Edit details for landing pages

  1. Go to the help center of your choice.

  2. Select your avatar, and from the dropdown, select Landing pages.

  3. Select More (…) next to the page of your choice, select Edit page details.

  4. Make changes you want to make to the name and/or description.

  5. Select Save to save changes.

Duplicate a landing page

To duplicate a landing page:

  1. Go to the help center of your choice.

  2. Select your avatar, and from the dropdown, select Landing pages.

  3. Select More (…) next to the page of your choice, and select Duplicate.

  4. Give the page a new name and description, and select Duplicate.

Once duplicated, you can edit the page to change the copied content or add new content to it.

Delete a landing page

To delete a landing page:

  1. Go to the help center of your choice.

  2. Select your avatar, and from the dropdown, select Landing pages.

  3. Select More (…) next to the page of your choice, and select Delete.

Once deleted, all customizations you’ve applied to that page will be lost, and it cannot be undone.
